Teacher Lily and Teacher Shawn have been close friends and colleagues for many years, having taught together at schools in both China and the United States.
Ten years ago, GogoLearning began with a single WeChat article Teacher Lily wrote while teaching in the U.S. Ten years later, Gogolearning has grown into an online education platform with more than 500,000 dedicated followers.
Most of our team members have teaching experience in China, the United States, or elsewhere abroad.
Gogolearning began in the classroom — and the world is our classroom too.
From a single classroom in the U.S. to a decade-long bridge between Chinese and American education.
Gogolearning was officially founded in the United States. We partnered with the Utah State Board of Education to launch the "J-1 Visiting Chinese Teacher Program," and partnered with Moreland University to bring the "Teach Now" online U.S. teaching-license program to China, training more than 700 students to date.
Hosted the first TCI China Comprehensible Input Conference in Beijing. In the years that followed, we ran workshops together with renowned linguist Dr. Krashen and leading U.S. educators, training more than 6,000 teachers in total.
Launched and continuously refined the "Gogo Year-Round English Coaching" system, reaching more than 5,000 students nationwide. Formed an exclusive partnership with Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU) to bring its U.S. teaching-license master's program to China — over 60 students across two cohorts have achieved a 100% U.S. employment rate, going on to teach in American public schools with H-1B visas exempt from the lottery.
Formed a strategic partnership with Southern Utah University (SUU), launching a joint "Youth Program + Undergraduate" direct pathway that has sent more than 50 students with substantial scholarships secured. In parallel, we began exploring the integration of AI with bilingual education.
